I had a problem with that once and come to find out it was because my hitch ball was rusty, took a wire brush to it and some coca-cola and worked like a champ.

Sounds like a bad ground. It happens all the time. Also very fustrating when you look at all the wires and they look fine until you take them apart to find they are chalky/minty green, corrosion has set in big time. Lube the wires with Die-electric grease and is your trailer wires friend..

A little dielectric grease on the trailer light harness pins helps too!

+1 I'd loosen your ground screw and make sure it's making good metal-metal contact

I agree with the majority here for all lights to quit at once is most likely from loss of ground as that is the only common with all your lights.. Could be the trailer or the truck or either plug... Confirm at the truck plug and then trailer plug and work your way back the trailer..Good Luck.
