I have noticed a good cut in my oil supply line on my 115hp e-tec. I want to replace the line and have read the priming section in the user manual .Is it that easy or is there a certain procedure to follow?

What ? Too tough a question?
if you read the instructions in your manual, what is your question? if you take the line off or replace it just follow instructions as if it were a new engine http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif
My question was, Is it that simple? It just seems too simple that you just replace the line and squeeze the bulb?
Replace the line. Pump the ball till good oil flow comes out. Hook the line up with the correct clamp. Start and run the outboard and you can put it into winterize mode to make the oil injector work to purge any air that may be in the line.
"you can put it into winterize mode to make the oil injector work to purge any air that may be in the line"
Thanks Johnrude
My manual negates the above information.
I was hoping that someone out there had the same motto as me in "never a stupid question "
thanks johnrude again http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif
There is no such thing as a stupid question. I learn something new everyday on this board.
