Just an FYI...you can mount those under the deck and they read just fine. I screwed mine to a block of wood and used double-sided tape to stick it down on the shelf in the rear compartment under the back step on my 03. On my 21, it's under the console. They'll shoot through fiberglass fine though. No need to drill into the boat and put them on the deck unless you just want to.

I went with the big one as well and I have to say its very solid, doesnt seem to move at all in choppy water. Of course the superior ride may have something to do with that. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
