Cool. I have to admit, I did not know turtle are on an eagles diet. Did it catch and kill it?

I doubt you have a rodent problem with that guy hanging around.
He had it in his talons digging at it with its beak when I saw it. The turtle was still on the drive when he left. Looks like the eagle ate its head and as far in as it could get its beak.
