Yup, you're pretty much it.
Re: Level of anxiety? (Basstronaught)
No, you are not the only one. I have a trip planned in August and I have already been making lists and organizing some "special tackle boxes". I can hardly wait for it now, I have no idea what I will be like ten days out.

Not sure why you would wonder if you are the only one who does that type of thing. But for the record...you are. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif

Carlos Hathcock and I have been going to St Clair for 9 years straight every May. We start planning the next years trip the day we get home. Smallmouth are fisherman's crack, always looking for your next fix. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
TOXIC
Re: Level of anxiety? (TOXIC)
I think about tournaments and what the pattern or baits will be months in advance. I get great joy out of setting in the boat retying and aranging tackle for each tournament. For me it is just part of the game http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif

Wouldn't know what to do if I ever fished a tourney never had the chance yet!!! I would be a insomniac I would figure! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eek.gif
Re: Level of anxiety? (Basstronaught)
I have a master list that I go by. So far I've been over packed every time. I learned this last trip to pay attention to the amenities offered at the place/area I'm going.
Note to self: If the place doesn't have a stove in the room dont take frozen pizzas.
The need for multiple close changes .... wet, cold, hot. Is the bulk.
As far as fishing tackle...... if you've got so much that you could possibly leave behind something that would truly effect your fishing ... You've got too much http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
