Read this last night, glad to see they are gonna do something about it. What relationship are you to Jerry?
He's my brother http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif

me in front, mom with the red hair, sister with the visor, and Jerry's wife Vonnie behind her.
Ok cool, hope they get the parity back, bike class used to be fun to watch, but not so Much since HD took it over. I loved Jerry calling them out last year, they got all pissed about it, but he was 100% right in what he said.

you do realize that under the current rules, NOBODY but V&H can have a Pro Stock Harley.... no matter how much money you have to blow, you cannot order the engine, and you cannot order the body.
so before you go spouting off about "if you can't beat em" do a little research and understand where the problem comes in.
When George Bryce developed the V-twin Buell, he was FORCED by NHRA to make the widely available, and at a reasonable cost...
But the created a completely seperate set of rules for the Harleys. It would be kinda like NHRA saying that Jason Line in Pro Stock cars can run an engine that has 100 more cubic inches than anyone else...
The Harleys run 4 valves per cylinder, and the NHRA does not allow any other manufacturer to do that.
Oh.. and another thing for all the V&H fans.. your champ, Eddie Krawiec, got beat off the line 83% of the time last year and still won the championship... great driving there.... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eyes.gif must be nice to have a bike that can make up that kind of advantage all the time.

The B/S is the taste in someone's mouth that would criticize while knowing little/nothing about it.
