pvc, any carrier will take that for a small fortune. Around 25 bucks, insured for proper amount would be my guess. Good luck, shippin rods is a pain in the arse http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif

I just shipped 2 rods from OK to NC for 20.05 with $150 insurance. It was 7'6" Sch 40 3"PVC.
USPS or UPS ?
Yep, PCV.Could go heavy cardboard.
don't go card board if you can. PVC is the only was to truely protect your rods while shipping. And even then it can still get broken, don't ask me how i know http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/mad.gif
Joey, I'm a UPS driver. First and most important is, ALWAYS USE A PVC TUBE!!!!! It's going to cost no matter who you use, pass that along to who ever is buying. AND INSURE it. So if it gets lost or label gets damaged or falls off, you can get your money back. Follow this two rules and your butt is covered. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
