Act of Valor

Hope this isn't a re-thread.... but just wanted to share with all who hasn't had a chance to see it. It was great, very well done. I think it gives those who don't know just a little peak into what the men and women of our armed forces go through day in and day out and the sacrifices that they make so I can sit here and type this with FREEDOM.

My father, who is a 28 year veteran (Vietnam & gulf war) ,asked me last week if I had seen it yet. I said no and he was like would you like to go with me. I thought man....this is awesome made me feel real good. He and I fish a lot and do construction projects together so we have a very close relationship, which i'm very thankful for and feel very blessed to have with him. I even bought his ticket and his jumbo popcorn for him! I told him when we where leaving that I think this is the first time in 25 years that he as asked me (usually he asks my mother) to go see a movie that he really wanted to see.

All this to say "Thankyou" for all that you veterans and active duty do for this great nation we live in . And for all you fathers out there to go spend time with your children! It will make a huge difference in there lives.

Went and saw it tonight. Good movie!! Let Valor, Not Fail.

My 28 year old son asked me to go watch it with him. It was a great movie and everything you said. What struck me, there were a lot old guys like me there with their grown up sons in the packed audience. The movie made me think of my father too. We all served, my son the Corps, me the US Army and my dad, the Army Air Corps and a three war veteran.
