Yes you can hook your Etec to the Lowrance stuff. The adapter is a BRP part. I have the part# for the adapter at home for a 150 etec......I'll post it when I get home. Not sure if it's the same for a 225 but your dealer should be able to tell you.

see my post july 5[ johnson ho]. I got my cable it's that p/n. I hooked to motor but it does'nt seem to read motor info.I set set the lmf 200 to engine for fuelflow info. Cable cost$40.

This is the LMF-400 Lowrance gauge I want to use . .All I need to get started is the connector the engine. I assume the ETEC will already be setup to provide the NMEA 200 0 data.
