My Dogs does very good on Arkat Enhance. Ive found each Dog is different.I look for ones that don't use chicken by product or corm as main ingredient.
I feed my coonhounds Diamond Naturals Extreme Athlete.
My yorkie eats Blue Buffalo.
Both are top of the line feeds. My coonhounds would eat the Buffalo if it was a little cheaper but 50$ for 30lb is a little much for my budget.
We have been having some issues with our new Lab pup. The Vet. we took him to last Monday gave us a reccomendation for Diamond Dog Food. He also gave us a list of ingredients not to have in the feed, they were Corn, Corn Meal, Wheat,,Barley,,Beef ,,Lamb. The litter of pups we got ours from has had some trouble and the Folks that bought the last pup lost it today. Complete Renal failure! I don't think that it is food related but it helps if they are not stressed to begin with. Our pup tested with a parasite and we have had him on meds for this week. He seems to be doing good now! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/praying.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/praying.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
If you're looking to start a fertilizer business, try Ol' Roy. If you're looking to keep the poop manufacturing under 200 lbs a day, try anything besides Ol' Roy. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
Blue Buffalo.

we feed either cainadae or chicken soup for the dog lovers soul. Been using the chicken soup lately because we can get it local.
I've tried a lot of different foods and I've had great results with the Tractor Supply 4Health foods. They are a good quality feed at a fair price. They aren't a bunch of filler like lots of different foods out there. My dogs run a lot hunting and they maintain their weight and have alot of energy with 4 Health Performance in the winter and I switch to the lower calorie Chicken and Rice blend in the summer.
Are you talking actual food for your dog or are you talking the mystery meat served at these Chineese buffets? http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif
Blue Buffalo is about the top of the pack ..
Canidae is at the top also, that's what all ours are on ..
We switched to Nutro Max and so far so good.

Dixie save yourself a few bucks and feed the Diamond Naturals if you can get it close. Exact same stuff as the 4Health. Exact same ingredients just in a different bag with a higher price.

My Plott Hounds are fed Enhance.
Just make sure it is a quality food, it costs more but you feed a whole lot less and you save money, not to mention your lawn and shoes.
Generally growing puppies need a higher protein %

My dalmatian used to only eat table scraps. If you gave him any kind of dog food, he would turn his nose at it. He lived to be 15 years, which is unheard of for a pure bred dalmatian. Get him used to eating a good dog food, or spoil him forever.

We started making our own dog food. Now we know for sure what is and isn't in the dog food. Its a little time consuming on the weekend when we make all the food but I have noticed better coats, more stamina and less itching and licking. And the dogs love it.
