I went to bps and ordered an new plexiglass windshield for my boat. Ordered it and it was 175.00, couldn't find one anywhere else. Opened the box up when I got home and there was a price tag on it for 56.00, Damn they marked that sob up. 119.00 markup. I know they have to have some meat on the bone to make a profit but dang. Is it Lexan or Lucite? Lexan is expensive.
I would call them out on it. I bought a rod with a lower price tag on it and got the difference refunded.

Look at the manufacturer and order one from them then send that one back to BPS.

Does it say $56.00 or 5600..your sure its a price tag and not a marking they might have had on the sheet?
You might check with Custom Mold and Tint Inc. I believe they make windshields for a good number of the boat manufacturers. They might have the OEM replacement at a fraction of the cost you paid.
They have to pay KVD.
And I thought Allison stuff was expensive.
It was definetely 56 bucks, doesn't have a brand on it. It's for a Nitro 929.

Not to steal your post but I bought several KVD 2.5s this past weekend and noticed the same lure but different color (Brown Craw) was marked $.66 higher than the rest. Asked a sales person and was told, because it was the most popular color for this time of year http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eyes.gif . Of course I wasn't going to accept that excuse so I talked to a manager and he said he didn't understand that reasoning either and reduced the price. Understand that Trackers price is dictated by Tracker...not the local store. The price is dictated to the local stores. The service manager can move the price down a little but he will have to answer to his actions because of his parts sales margin.
The tag says for a NX882 is that gonna fit your 929??

And we have a winner! Yes, they are the main manufacturer and yes. they carry nitro windshields. Average price is $110 shipped. Always go to them. They make every style for every big manufacturer. Probably even made the one in your hands (minus their product sticker).
