WGT GOLFERS

We were thinking of getting some kind of WGT tournament going. Not you're normal tourney, thinking of doing a NCAA type format w/double elimination. We are trying to figure out a way to make it fair for the guys that have higher avgs. Looking for input on how you think we should do such a tourney. Was also thinking about putting a pot together, maybe 5 dollar entry or something, and pay 1st 2nd 3rd. everyone plays with the basic clubs that they give you when you start out, because thats all I have

Everyone makes a new name that they are not allowed to rank up outside of the T......OR

90 and above get two stroke starts

80 and above 1 stroke

70 and below start even

Play alt shot, where you put teams together by scoring avg. That way you have a stronger player and a well...... player like me! A bracket could be posted on BBC and could be updated if we were gonna go with bracket format. Biggest issue with two man team would be scheduling when teams would play one another, but I think that would be the fairest for scoring.

issue there is what if your partner doesn't show up? Scheduling is going to be a pain imho.

I'd make the 90 and above 5 stroke spot...80 3 stroke spot...
