Wouldn't you think..........
That if a company is going to sell an item (i.e. Ranger). The item being sold being their smart cull board and culling straps. That the hardware that they include (i.e. the bolts) would be long enough to go through at least a Ranger lid? I mean come on? You know how thick your lids are. You know how long the bolt has to be to go through and secure the culling strap holder.
For the love of a bolt a half an inch longer! How much are you really saving by short changing us a 1/2 on your bolts? Some things in this world just tick me off. Obviously someone in quality management failed the 101 level course on this issue. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif

You are trying to bolt it to the lid, all the way through the lid? Seems like you would need screws, short enough to not go all the way through the lid.

I hate that crap.........I have to ask.........are they stainless? http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/stirthepot.gif

I wouldn't want bolts all the way through my lids. Screws just short enough not to go through is what holds mine..

I got to thinking about that exact same thing...after I drilled the holes! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif
The hardware consisted of 4 screw bolts, 4 nylon nuts, and 3 washers! Not even 4!
I will probably fill the holes with epoxy and go with the short screws as well.

You're just like me! I love learning how to do everything the hard way!
