Hi guys,
Can any of you Etec guru's tell me if it is possible to upgrade a 50 etec to a 60 since all the major specs are the same?
My hull is rated to 50 so i can bolt a 60 on for insurance purposes etc.

Yes, it is.
Sell the 50 & buy a 60. The exhaust housing, a 1-piece casting is different, the powerhead (engine block) has different porting, and the EMM (computer) is different so the it can control the water valve (that only the 60 has) for exhaust tuning.

If your hull is rated to 50.....why would you bolt on a 60?
