Since I'm relatively new, I decided on these items. Locate is PNW on the wet side. Looks good? Input?
I already have plenty of soft plastics. Worms, grubs, creatures and baitfish imitations.

Looks good to me minus the strike king products.
Never buy just 'one' of any lure. It will be the lure to have and you will lose the only one you own

+1000 http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif My fishing partner learned this last year the hard way.
Ditch the cavitrin and the strike king.
The only good sk lure IMO is a series 3.

Make the sammy a 115.

I agree. At a minumum two is a good idea. For example Cranks in 4's. One depth-two colors, then matching colors in a shallower, or deeper model.
I noticed you got the lure retriever to get those LC baits back http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif

LOL I've lost a few when I was fishing from shore, but I've yet to lose a lure in the boat. I know my time will come. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/praying.gif
I'm surprised by all the negative SK comments. I thought they had decent gear. I got a few of the Red Eye Shad lipless lures and they've caught lots of fish for me.
I actually scoopped up a Sammy 100 last night off ebay for $11 brand new. I just checked out that same ad the previous night. For some reason, it was on sale when I checked it last night and bought it. Red Musky color.
And on doubling up lures. Right now, I'm trying to maximize my variety and try them first. If they are very effective, I will double up.
The reason for the some of the top water gear is, i dont have any top water gear. I just bought a new top water combo and trying to get set up for it.

Nothing wrong with doing that. That is mostly what I do to. But Ideally I'd buy in fours.
One of those do as I say, not as I do things I guess. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif
I was able to pick up a couple more Sammy 100s for $10 ea locally. So I'm going to remove that Sammy from my list, the SK popper, SK deep diver and lure retriever.
I plan on adding another color of the RC STX, a War Eagle double willow spinner, and another Gann Spinner. Also a silent Norman DD22 in a chartreusish type color. Leaves me about $15. Was going to try some of that KVD line conditioner. I always thought those are a gimmick, but all the reviews got me curious.
I go by a simple rule! Always buy two, even if I never tried it. If I normaly use a lure I buy three.
get you some Bandit 200's
