Fished Belva Deer today. The weeds are all nearly gone. Enough grass beds still around to hold fish but all the emergent weeds and slop are gone. Numbers wise it was probably my worst day in two years, only about 25 or so bass. But of those, probably a dozen were keepers with two over three and a nice kicker four lber. Was nice to get some decent bass in today as the weather is supposed to be a scorcher for the next few days! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/sweating.gif
