Mississippi river crappie

Local angler Bob Tarr had a pretty good morning fishing crappie in the mississippi river somewhere near his home in green island, Iowa. The fish on the right is a 15 inch long slab that weighed 1 pound 6 ounces, a great fish most any place. The fish on the left is a once in a lifetime chunk that weighed an amazing 3 pounds 2 ounces! That's one of the biggest crappie that I have ever heard of being caught in the mighty miss. The pair will end up on the wall in his living room to enjoy forever.
