1998 Evinrude FICHT temp question

Hello Guys,

I have a 1998 Evinrude FICHT that I started up yesterday on the trailer with the ears on the motor. I ran the motor for about 5 minutes and the water temp gauge
gradually got to around 200 degrees. There was plenty of water pumping out through the hole.

I looked in the service manual and could not locate the operating temp for the motor. Could somebody let me know the temp?

Any help would be appreciated.

Should be around 140* at idle on the muffs. I would let the gurus get on this one before I went any farther!
