What I noticed when I put mine on was that the engine spins up alot faster.Better hole shot and faster to top end.
so is it worth doing first?
The best bang for the buck are heads. If you see any difference in top it will be very little if any. It will help on hole shot and that is about it.
But the heads will help all the way from 0 to WFO.

It wouldnt be what I would do first. Heads first tuner next then reeds and modified reed cages. I have a Phase 3 set up that will work on you motor for sale. Including the light flywheel.
