Upgrade

I have a 2003 VX225 3.1 OX66 and was wandering what options I have for getting more horse power? Less Oil usage? Better gas mileage? How much? Can you do this or do you have to get a new HPDI? I am a novice as you can see. Just wandering what options I have or do I just live with what I have.

The 3.1l is very good motor to modify and will fly easy to prop..... the only down side is it likes fuel you may See a slight gain in mileage modifying it due to its more efficient and less boat is in the water....the hpdi is a green motor and gets ex fuel mileage even when modified heavily....if I had a 3.1l I would modify it and if I was getting a new boat i would get the hpdi
