I think I know the answer but I want to ask - are there any modifications that can be done that won't void the warranty ? I'm not talking about turning a brand new engine into a drag race beast .... but a couple of things like the lightweight flywheel and the low water pickups on the lower unit.
Hydro Tec mods will not void the warranty, just effect it. How or if it effects the warranty is really up to your dealer. As fas as adding low water pick ups to your Skeeter, don't waste your time or money.

Not a stupid question...I can't speak for other people in the industry, but none of the kits we sell will void the warranty. As long as you maintain your motor properly, i.e. changing the filters, keep fresh gas in it, use ring free and fuel stabilizer, etc, you have nothing to worry about. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
Those 2 upgrades you mentioned are good places to start though. Feel free to give me a call if you have any more questions.

What benefit does it have? Does it allow it to turn more RPM? thanks
