Those who know..chime in..
Have a Champ210 Elite w/a 250Yam HPDI,,10in Bobs, I am running a 27P T1 Vmax 3 blade prop..It is a dog out of the hole and sucks top end, was told from others who run same rig that i need to downsize to a 25P T1 prop..What prop would you recommend if i went to a 4 blade? Hole shot and handling with the best top end i can get would be nice...

It would help if you posted speed, rpm, water pressure, etc data... I would try a 25T1 or a 25 TXP-OT4
Re: Those who know..chime in.. (FEARTHETURTLE210)
I agree with Mike, on a hull that heavy with a 250....go with a 25 pitch something...Think you would be happy with a 25T1.
Re: Those who know..chime in.. (Vyper202)
My speeds at top end are only 67mph at 5400rpms, my water pressure is a guess due to poor gauge accuracy, the highest i have seen it is around 15psi, these yamaha props have slots in they, unlike my trophy/tempest props there appears no way to plug these vents, Are you guys saying go with a 25P 4 blade prop?
Re: Those who know..chime in.. (FEARTHETURTLE210)
I agree with the other guys.........go with a Yamaha 3 blade 25T. You are not even close on rpms!! Stay away from the small hub 4 blade trophy, that gearcase does not run that well with them

wayne, my hub is a 15 1/8 now, due i stay with that and drop down to a 25T1, with a smaller pitch am i going to still be able to get boat control in rough water? Will it be good enough to keep bow up? will the smaller prop give me a better holeshot?
Re: Those who know..chime in.. (FEARTHETURTLE210)
Your hole shot will be better with the 25T Yamaha! Everything will be better http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif At 5400 rpms you are not into the good HP yet http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif

Re: Those who know..chime in.. (FEARTHETURTLE210)
