Has anyone put a 3.1 Yamaha lower unit on a 3.3 Yamaha HPDI????

Was just wondering what type of performance changes there would be????? I know the gear ratio is different and obviously there is more drag with the 3.3 lower unit so speed may increase????? Has anyone had experience with this?
