Re: O2 Sensor AGAIN?? (Colorado Ranger)
Get the cross reference model in a NGK/Bosch at the auto parts store. Make sure you get the same wires and you can cut off the old plug, solder it and use shrink tube over the connections. Save $250.00 http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eek.gif
Re: O2 Sensor AGAIN?? (Colorado Ranger)
21XDC's suggestion is right on, however, for me it's the last resort. In the process of re-cleaning my sensor as we speak as I don't think it soaked long enough on the original attempt....The sniffer (on the first cleaning) was plugged solid and I thought it was a black rubber bumper.. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif Yes it was drilled out but, like you, initial performance was good only to rapidly suffer. Soaking the sensor 24+ hours this time.....GL
Re: O2 Sensor AGAIN?? (TomzRanger)
Thanks, Guys! I can't seem to find that thread about how to do all of this that I read last week?? Do you remember where it was such a great step by step? I thought it was on here, but maybe the Ranger forum? Well, I am sure going to try again, such good results for a day! There was also a place to get gaskets online? Can't believe my Yami place didn't even know I had a O2 sensor. Thanks, CR http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/sweating.gif
Re: O2 Sensor AGAIN?? (Colorado Ranger)
The thread you're looking for is pinned up top "Repair stuff" and Boats.net can supply the gaskets.....Might want to find another dealer.. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eek.gif
