Motor Bogging getting on Plane and sporadic power at WOT

Was out this weekend on Guntersville and usually my rpm's get up to 4k and the boat hops up on plane. It was hot and muggy and the rpm's would only climb to 3k and take a while to get on plane.

Also noticed that when running WOT, the power would give in and out while the pedal was smashed to the floor.

Any ideas?

My vmax was doing the same thing. I hope yours turns out better than mine. Broke ring in cylinder # 4. Total rebuild while it is apart. Mine is still in the shop. Good luck. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/praying.gif
