Help 2007 Yamaha 115 2 stroke Draining Cranking Battery
I took my boat into the shop to have the carburetor cleaned/rebuilt. Before I took it in, I had no issue with battery drain. A week after I got it back I took the boat to the lake and dead cranking battery. I went back home and the battery won't charge 100% so now I'm certain it's the battery, which is three years old and sits outside. Makes sense to me.
I buy a new battery with more CCA and RC, give it a full charge that evening, but by morning it's down to 50% charge. I check the positive from the motor and it's drawing over 250 MA just sitting there. Battery drains to 50% in about 5-6 hours. Anyone have any suggestions as to what could cause that many MA draw and what I need to look at? I'm not sure I what to take it back to the same shop as I found some odd things with my boat when they were done. I think they took it fishing.
Thanks for any help,

Have you removed all of the wires except for the engine ones? Are you sure it's related to the engine and not a pump that's running?
