2003 yamaha 250 vmax ox66
Motor fires up great and idles great when I first start it for the day. Motor runs great at anything over 1000 rpms. After motor is hot when idling in gear motor runs very rough and sometimes stalls. I have cleaned the o2 sensor, changed the plugs, shock treatment of ring free, run sea foam through it, checked the fuel filter, changed fuel water seperator and changed the 3 low pressure fuel pumps. Any help would be great.
Change the o2.
My 03" 250 HPDI started the same deal a litle over a month ago. I changed out the fuel pumps, plugs, and filters with still no improvement. I got frustrated and took her to the shop and am waiting for some word back. I'll post as soon as I hear. Just have a gut feeling that ethanol is in the equation. SURPRISE!!
Just heard from the shop. I've lost compression in one cylinder. I'm gonna be the proud owner of a new powerhead. Hope this ain't you but you may want to get a compression check. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/crying.gif
