Re: 2007 V150LTR (jazzman39)
I have an 06 150 carb. No trouble at all. They are pretty much bullet proof. Good reliable motors, but they love the gas. Oil usage isn't bad. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif

Re: 2007 V150LTR (brianranger188vx)
Got the same motor on my 99 zx which I bought new. Can tell you I've never had a problem ever in 11 years. Runs stronger today than when it was new. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif

Good strong motors. I think my 95' ProV 175 which is pretty much the same thing is 15 years old and still going strong n i'm the 3rd owner!! Just keep it between 3000 to 4000 rpms (depending on setup) n it won't suck the gas as bad. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
Re: 2007 V150LTR (The Next KVD)
I ran a 2003 150 (same motor) and never had any problems out of it. As someone above said "cold natured". On a cold morning you might have to play with the choke a little until the motor warms up, after that it will run perfect all day long. I wouldnt hesitate to buy one.

Thanks guys, it sounds like this is a pretty reliable engine. I appreciate the feedback, and "Happy Motoring".
