Leaking line on 225 EFI, need some advice
Hey fellas, I had my cowl off today looking for a rattle I kept hearing and I was running the motor on the muffs and hose, and I revved the engine a bit and noticed a huge stream of fluid shooting in the air on the back side of the motor. I walked around and it was the white/clear hose in the pic. It seems it was rubbing on the inside of the cowl and had rubbed a spot clear through the wall and opened up a hole. Is this the fuel return line to the fuel tank? I noticed it runs back down into the boat. Is there a way to put a union or something in to avoid replacing the whole line?
Thanks!

That's your water pressure hose for the gauge in the dash. See if you can pull enough hose so that the bad spot will reach the fitting, then cut it there and replace on the fitting. Looks like you only need a couple of inches to get it to reach.
If you don't have enough, just move the fitting to the same spot on the starboard head and switch fitting & plug.

NICE! Thanks for the tip fellas. I had a hard time believing it was a fuel line, and I didn't get back there quick enough to smell what was coming out. Makes perfect sense though given where it comes out at. I've never seen a fuel line come out of the block! DUHH... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif
