The water pressure gauge wasn't hooked up when I got my ntw motor,Yamaha 150Prov '89. I put a T in water hose coming out of the motor. Is this OK? Is there a beter place to hook it up? Running 15psi at 5500rpm.

I think there was a couple of posts with pictures about a year ago. Try using the search function.
Type in "water pressure gauge".
Select the "archive"
select the "yamaha" forum
See if that will give you an idea of what to do.

It hooks to the top of the head, drivers side of boat, behind the T-Stat.
Pull the plug out of the head, you will need a metric to NPT adapter. I also used a 90 deg. fitting so the line wouldn't hit the top of my cowling.

Not to hi-jack this post, but where can I find a metric to NPT adapter?
Thanks
