Was wondering if there is any way to tell which fuel pump is bad on my 2000 vmax 225?
If you are having fuel pump issues, I would change them all out.

Very easy to replace them. I did mine yesterday, it took about 30 minutes.
Yeah, it's generally accepted that you just do them as a set. They're easy to get to and are an easy swap.
loosen them, do not remove
squeeze the primer bulb
What's the gasket part number? I didn't order them when I ordered the pumps. I have yet to swap them out but figure I'll put in new gaskets when I change them out. Can't locate the part number.... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif
The gaskets I got were # 650-24431-A0, from my reciept from the dealer. The diagram isn't working on the boats.net site for the fuel system.

They aren't very expensive, you could grab them at your local dealer and not go broke. I think they listed under $2 each.
