I tring to determine what type and what size fuel water separator kit i would need. I have a 2001 yamaha 225 ox66. There seems to be several sizes such as 30 gph, 90 gph. Does anybody know which size i need?

After talking with the local dealers mechanic he reccommended the 90gph and that is what I installed.Change the filter once a year and have had itt for 3 years on the 1999 225 ox66.

I order the fuel water separator. I hope to hook it up this weekend. I have two gas tanks for this boat. Do i just run both gas lines thru the separator?

I know you ordered already but the smaller one i believe is for 115 HP and smaller. I do believe you run both line thru the filter. When you get it you will see that there are 4 ports. Should say on the directions.
Easy to do.There are arrows on the cap that show which direction the fuel will be coming in/out.Hook one side of fuel line to in and the other to the out and cap off the other holes with the brass fittings.Make sure your primer bulb rrowfaces level or the arrow towards the motor up.
