I use the yellow T&H wrench but you can keep a socket and bar in the boat. The nut is only torqued to 55 pounds so you don't need alot. You can carry a block or find a piece on of limb on the bank. If you get stranded you can come up with some pretty creative ideas to get you going again.

Don't forget if you carry a spare prop to have an extra set of washer, nut, and cotter pin. Thats if you lose the whole thing.
Probably not a bad idea to have extra parts just in case you drop a piece in the water.
