Is there any further info regarding the "new" 2 pc washers?
My washer broke into two pcs, which allowed the prop to rub forward into the lower unit housing cause major gouges.
Yamaha Canada has not heard of any issues with the thrust washers on the 300hpdi's.
Any info would be appreciated.
As of this time Yamaha hasn't given dealers the new part number for the 2 piece washer. They ARE out there though. Called Yam today and they will get me more info shortly. Will let you know what I hear.

Yam RTA's were kind of confused about the new washers too. No part number assigned as of yet AND ARE no longer available for some reason.

Guess I'll just need to keep checking the washer and changing it before it wears too much..
Going to get expensive...
