That's about it for now.
With the gas being like it is now a days I would run a stabilizer in it. I use seafoam with does what ringfree will and is a stabilizer also.
I agree on the Seafoam spider but I think Yamaha requires you to use ringfree while the engine is still under warranty. I'm not sure whether or not they would be able to prove you weren't as long as you ran the Seafoam. Might wanna double check that owners manual or call the dealer. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
There is no requirement to use or not use any additive from Yamaha including no requirement to use Ringfree, just a recommendation. You want to run Seafoam, go for it. I doubt Yamaha will be able to prove or link any failure to that product or any additive for that matter. I run Ringfree but also use Pri-G
The yamaha dealer said that ringfree is all you need to make yamaha motors to last a long time. He also said that i didn't need a stablizer because ringfree has it all.
Thanks
Ringfree is not a stabilizer but you may want to consider using one. Many guys like Seafoam. I prefer Pri-G together with Ringree.
What about the one yamaha makes
And how often do you suppose to use it
That would be fine as well. If running e-10 fuel I would use it in every tank unless you use the fuel very rapidly.
