175 VMAX HPDI trouble

Today I was fishing when my battery on my 06 HPDI got low and wouldn't crank the boat. I think the battery may have a dead cell as I just charged it two days ago. Anyway I carry cables and jump started the boat and it ran fine. I idled for a little ways then got on plane only running about a hundred yards when it shut down and died out. Tried to crank it wouldnt work so I had to be towed in. Once In I put my truck up to boat and let it charge battery. Motor now cranked fine but wouldnt start. I pulled fuse panel on motor and top left fuse I believe it was a 20 amp fuel pump fuse was blown. I replaced it and still wont start. Pulled spark plug wire and didn't seem to have fire. Is there anything else I can check before I take it in and yes kill switch is attached.

Anyone?

if you have a dead cell it might not even crank the battery. those HPDI pumps require a lot of juice to keep the fuel flowing.

Took it in and shop advised that they put all new fuses in and motor still wouldn't crank. Left for lunch and returned and motor started. I am still not satisfied and they are going to do more digging before I go pick it up. Hope I don't have a motor with a mystery illness.

They are going to replace a fuel sending unit. Will run it hard next week and let you know how it turns out.
