My 2000 3.1 200HP OX66 VMAX calls for NGK BR8HS 10 plugs. The gap specifications are 0.035-0.039. I know it's not that big of a difference, but what do you do? Gap them right in the middle? What's the difference?

I go metric since it is a Japanese motor 1.00mm.
Every NGK plug I have bought has been gapped in that range right out of the box
Not me did my new ones today all too small.
The gap (.035-.039) is the "range" the manufacturer wants the plugs gapped at. As Long as the gap on each plug is within the "range" you're all set...most likely they won't be correct right out of the box...mine weren't.
