Livewell Pumpout Install

I just installed a Livewell Pumpout on my 2001 Ranger 518VX. Thought I would share the install for those not sure if they want to attempt it. It really is an easy job that you can do yourself.

This was the kit I bought from my local Ranger Dealer.

Here are the two Bilge Pump discharges. I debated about which side I wanted to put the new outlet on. I decided to put it to the left because the surface of the boat is flatter there. On the right it starts to curve and I was worried that it wouldnt sit flush.

Take a piace of masking tape and tape over where the new outlet will be installed.

Take a pencil and mark the center line across the two existing outlets. I just eyeballed it. Take another piece of tape and go across the marks and over the existing piece of tape. This will give you the horizontal line for the new outlet.

Do you have a pic of the inside of the livewell where and how you mounted the nozle?

I think the OP posted this install in like 3 different threads that he started instead of stringing posts under one thread.
You might try a search by 'threads started by the OP' and find what you're looking for.

I want to say he simply replaced the original nozzle.
