What is the difference between these motors?
Carbs and porting. Maybe the heads as well. Someone here will know for sure.
The HOs have an exhuast port similar to the port on an 88-92 non-fingerported motor. The HOs are finger ported though as are all loopers after 93.
Plus they have the small idle relief holes in the bores.... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif
This is for the 98 -2000 motors... not sure on the newer ones...
Check your parts manuals.
Neveredge..So are the 91-92 200XP's finger ported?
No.
I don't know about you CM but I got finger ported the last time I went to the Doctor. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif

Yeah, CM asked his doctor to do that, but doc told him, "Sorry, only 1 per customer!".
Doc also told him the same thing after telling him to "cough". http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif
