I have a 2003 Vmax on a TR20... I don't have an hour guage or anything. The motor and boat were bought new in Aug of 2006. Is there an easy "do it yourself" way to figure out how many hours you have on the motor? Or is it only what a dealer with the proper electronic gadgets can do?
I don't believe the hours can be determined on a non-HPDI motor. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Phil's right....HPDI's are downloadable.....
You can buy a very simple hour meter to put on it. look up sundec hour meter on the net. Yamaha also sells one but it's twice the price.
