Just got the water pump repair kit today and was wondering if anyone here has tackled this job. I did a search on this topic and someone said all the parts needed for this job were not in the kit? Just wanted to get some input on this before I started busting bolts on my lower unit loose. How long would this take for a pretty mechanically inclined person to do with the proper tools and all the parts needed on hand?
I replaced mine in 30-45min. Its an fairly easy job. I just replaced the impeller on mine and will replace everything next year. (everything else looked fine). Just be careful removing the little cap on top of the pump housing it can break easy. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif

Yes I did, you have to remove the trim tab to get to a bolt . Removing the prop makes it easier to get to the bolt.
