250 ox66 Gas Mileage Question

Does anyone know information on the gas mileage for a 2004 Yamaha ox66 on a 210 Blazer..Idle...Midrange...WOT

I can't speak to idle and midrange, but a good rule of thumb on carbs and EFI's is a gallon per hour for every 10 Horsepower.....so 25 gallons per hour at WOT. How fast is the boat at WOT and you can find out the MPG....

Only exception seems to be the Direct Injection motors which are slightly better at WOT and alot better at 4500 rpms and less....

I just switched from a ox66 225 to a 250 HPDI and the fuel savings are significant (I don't run WOT very much).

MPG on a 202 Blazer hull with an OX66...

IMO, not a whole lot of difference between it and a HPDI. This data was from Bass & Walleye in a 2002 article. I kept it because it was the same setup i bought.
