prop setup for '93 201 pro xl

I am running a 93 201 pro xl with 200 evinrude. current prop is a 27 shooter. While trying to get on plane feels like the prop is slipping. I made some marks on the prop and shaft and lined them up. Ran it for a couple of runs and the marks will be off. looks like the inside of the prop may be slipping. Was looking for some advice on new prop for my setup. Would like to stick with the 4 blade. Care more about the hole shot the top end. i see alot of yall running the renegades or the powertech. Are these good prop and what pitch would yall recommend. Thanks....

25 renegade with a weed ring or a 26 raker.I have a 96 201 pro xl dc and have had a 200 and 225 evinrude these work the best for me.good luck.

If your prop has a press-in type hub it very well could be spun. Usually you can tell by looking at the backside of the prop.

If the marks you placed on it have moved, it appears that it is spun. I've found the 25 Renegade is a good all-around prop for my 94.
