97 Intruder 150 Problem

It doesn't want to run at the end of the day. I can fish all day and runs great
decide to quit for the day and it barely gets me to the ramp. I'll start it up
and it starts missing badly and the rpms jump up to keep it running. try to put it in gear and it stalls. restart and the same thing. Finally after 2 or 3 tries I can get it in gear and start moving as soon as I accelerate it wants to stall so I have to barely accelerate to keep it running and thats it. Basically barely idle back to the ramp. I have had it to one shop on the dyno for 3 hours and it wouldn't act up.
It did it to 3 times before I put it away. I plan on taking it to another shop but I'm afraid they won't be able to get it to act up either. PLEASE HELP any of you ever seen this before. THANK YOU http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/praying.gif

There is nothing wrong with your motor. I just doesn't want to stop fishing for the day and it is telling you so. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif Sorry..just had too. My son is the same way. He is fine as long as we are fishing, but he turns into a crab when it is time to go home.

One or twoor three questions, you running a JP on your boat? Does it fire up first thing in the AM? When it fails to fire after fishing is the motor trimmed down?

Always fires first thing in the morning only have the problem late in the day.
Even when it acts up it will fire. But it starts missing and rpms jump up to keep it running. Always trimmed down to start maybe not 100% but down.

I would look at the ignition system because you mentioned it starts missing, if all is good there I would look at the fuel system next.
