I heard if I provide my serial number I can find out if all the recalls/ mods have been done to it and if it had any warranty work done. Is this correct? What else can I find out about the motor? 2000 225 Ficht S/N G04769944
The following warranty info is on file:
The ECU was replaced at 21 hrs Aug 2000.
The injector strap kit update (5004550) was installed Aug 2001.
And an injector replaced in Aug 2002.

4/2002 @ 132 hrs some air box seal was replaced.
6/2002 @ 240 hrs EMM was replaced. That's the new Bombardier EMM too, so you're in good shape bud. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif

After reading this thread I'm being to wonder if I'm not the next in line for a new ECU....
Opinions on a DFI remaned compared to the new BOMB ECU?
What are common failures of a ECU? Did 1999-2000 have a higher failure rate?
