MERCURY MOTOR MOUNT TORQUE

I need to pull my motor to add a Power pole. What is the proper torque bolt settings for the motor mount bolts?

Where are you mounting the bracket- between the motor and jack plate OR between the jackplate and transom; assuming you have a jackplate?

55 foot pounds for the transom bolts
85 foot pounds for the jack plate bolts

Actually:

TRANSOM mount bolts: 55 ft. lbs.

Engine TO JACKPLATE bolts: 90 ft. Lbs.
