Re: T&H Hotfoot won't slide (HTC33)
you have to line up with the many slots on the slide part then put the screw in.
Re: T&H Hotfoot won't slide (mikeva)
Ah, ok - thanks for letting me know about the slots.
Any ideas on why the pedal won't "slide"?
Thanks again,
Matt
Re: T&H Hotfoot won't slide (HTC33)
On mine, even the least bit of grit or corrosion in the track will cause it to stick, and it has to be lined up just right and not have lateral or vertical cable tension.

+1.... and if the cable is already pulled too tight, trying to slide the hotfoot forward will likely cause the cable to BIND.
If this is the case, it may be necessary to replace the throttle cable with a (1' longer) Premium-Grade Throttle Cable. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
Re: T&H Hotfoot won't slide (EuropeanAM)
OK, thanks guys. I will look at it this weekend. My bet is that it's the throttle cable. I will probably have to get a longer one.
