Spring service including thermostats
So I will be pulling my boat out here in a few days and of course have a list of things to do before hitting the water. It is a 2011 250 pro xs. I thought I had read earlier that there are gaskets that needed to be replaced when you remove the thermostats, but I can't seem to find that thread. This is my first Merc, so I am learning, but slowly! Thanks if anyone can chime in!

Yep, a new one for each t-stat, they're not expensive.
Are you taking the boat to Phoenix from MN or vice versa, or did I just read too much into it?

I live in MN and OWN a Phoenix. Make sense now?

I would strongly recommend that you have TWO (2) each 8503181 gaskets on hand BEFORE removing the thermostats. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
