Here is my deal. 2009 motor. When I'm driving my boat if I trim the motor up or down I get an alarm as long as I am trimming. If I just bump the trim, no alarm. I took it to the shop and they replaced the alternator, didn't fix it, replaced wiring harness , didn't fixit. I had the battery tested and it was fine. Graphs do not shut off and motor runs fine. The motor is a 250 opti. Any ideas?
Kinda sounds like your battery doesn't meet requirements for the motor. What battery do you have and what is it's specs?
+1... Have your battery LOAD TESTED to confirm it's ACTUAL capacity (ignore what's printed on the sticker.... the sticker means essentially nothing).
Make sure battery connections are CLEAN, ENGINE CABLE installed FIRST, remaining lugs "largest to smallest". Finish off the connection with a STAINLESS LOCKNUT (do NOT use wing nuts).

The battery is a sears platinum 31 just purchased in Jan. I took it to sears to have it tested and it tested good. I will double check connections. Thanks for replying.
My problem was very similiar with same battery 18 months old and it was the battery. Check/clean all connections including on engine and if that dont fix it I'd bet the battery is bad.
