Yes, provided that the engine is running properly, and has ALWAYS performed this way.
DO NOT change props trying to regain "lost" performance... it only further complicates future diagnostic attempts.
You really should have this engine in the 5600-5700 RPM target range (as you would NORMALLY load the boat), when propping. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
Thanks that's what I thought I will pitch down one ... Thanks again http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
Don:
Not to stir the pot here, and I understand all motors are a bit different, but I thought I saw some posts last year or so suggesting that the ProXS motors produce their peak HP closer to 5,900 - 6,000 rpms.
My WOT rpms are at about 5,800 right now...I was planning on trying another prop and also pitching down by 1 inch to try to get them up a bit.
Thoughts? Maybe I read this on another forum?

Good question!
The 200 ProXS and the 250 ProXS are VERY different engines.... the 200 ProXS has a much lower RPM limiter (hard limiter). http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
Ahhhh...thanks for clearing that up! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/USA1.gif
